Kriukot Hotel - Holmavik

We got great value for our money at Kriukot. The room was comfortable, had a beautiful view, and was well-equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the Westfjords and the staff was lovely and helpful.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement.

This place was a great choice for a one-night stay, the host was very welcoming and everything was top-notch.

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the small size of the room and the presence of blackout blinds, ensuring a good night's sleep without any disturbance from the street light outside. The clean and comfortable bedroom with a decent double bed was a bonus, and having access to a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room made our stay more enjoyable. The views from the living room, overlooking the sparkling sea, were absolutely gorgeous.

This place was located in a fantastic building with a great view and was conveniently close to the post office, supermarkets, and downtown.

I keep coming back because the staff helped me with a room problem even at night. Kriukot suits me perfectly, with Wi-Fi, car park, laundry, TV room. No pets, no smoking. See you at Easter!

The room may have been small, but it was cozy and comfortable. The full kitchen offered an amazing selection of tea, coffee, cookies, and condiments, making it easy to whip up our own delicious meals. The location, just a short walk from town, provided stunning views of Holmavik across the water. The host was easily accessible, living upstairs, and the shared bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels. And to top it all off, the lunch at the Galdur Restaurant was absolutely scrumptious!

Stock up at the supermarket for meals as no food is provided.

The shared lounge was an inviting space with comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere. It felt like being in a friend's living room, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the picturesque Westfjords.

We had a wonderful stay at a homestay in a beautiful location in the Westfjords. the room was comfortable and had a stunning view of the fjord. the kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area were well-decorated and functional. We appreciated being able to do laundry during our trip. the host was friendly and gave us great recommendations for hot springs. Check-in was easy. We would definitely choose to stay at Kriukot again!

I was in a bit of a bind when I had a flat tire just outside of Holmavik. But the owner of the accommodation were really nice too help me out. He personally patched the tire so that I could continue my journey safely. It was really good service and I felt so grateful for his kindness and dedication as a host.
